Assets and Strengths Base Recovery Planning is at the centre of everything we do as a service.
Moving On understands that it is far more effective to help people uncover their own strengths – in effect focus on what we HAVE rather than what we are MISSING. For this reason, our easy to follow Recovery Action Plans are structured to help individuals identify and engage the necessary key assets and personal strengths that are helpful to achieving overall recovery goals. The Recovery Plans are evidence based and SSMART (Stretching – Specific – Measurable – Attainable – Relevant – Timebound) and are very effective for helping people track and celebrate progress while engaged with our service.
Recovering service users may use Moving On Inverclyde as their primary “recovery hub” for as long as progress is demonstrated and tracked, typically will be around 6 months but may be longer if required.
