Physical And Mental Health And Wellbeing Activities

All activities are free and open to everyone accessing our programme

Physical activities

We have an activities co-ordinator who deliveries activities which have been chosen by our service users and these are reviewed regularly. Examples include walking, cycling, gym sessions - but we’re always looking for new ideas!

We aim to be inclusive of people with limited mobility wherever possible.

In addition to the above - we can supply gym cards for access to facilities within Inverclyde Leisure for specific classes, swimming, use of the sauna etc.

Acupuncture

We offer weekly group sessions of auricular acupuncture. This is a recognised technique within recovery which assists in the reduction of cravings, detoxification, aids relaxation and assists in emotional and psychological healing. This is supported with a period of mindfulness.

Yoga

We offer weekly yoga sessions which is tailored to each individuals abilities. As with acupuncture, this is a recognised technique to support physical and mental wellbeing whilst improving fitness and flexibility.

Digital Skills

Working in partnership with Software Training Scotland and with the use of our own IT Suite, we offer a digital skills course which will support people to access technology for personal and professional reasons including job searching and learning how to put together playlists.
